SPIT's range of low-voltage AC drives offers proven safety functions for a wide range of machines. SPIT offers detailed evaluation of the combination of safety-related products and functions, such as prevention of unexpected start or emergency stop functions, to meet necessary system-level requirements.
SPIT's functional safety solutions meet the requirements of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. This directive is linked to standards such as IEC 62061 (safety integrity level) and ISO 13849-1 (performance level). These require a well-documented system and proven safety performance, as well as a life-cycle approach to safety.
